The Ice Stupa through time
Anyone who takes a look at the new pictures from the end of January will immediately see how much the Ice Stupa has developed since it was first built. From a wooden frame with small icicles, the Ice Stupa has developed into an impressive structure. It has now reached a height of around 13 meters and has a stable structure.
Sports and commitment to climate protection
On January 18, 2026, the second Save Pond Hockey Tournament ever held in Switzerland took place in Zernez. Following its premiere in Davos, this tournament was also a resounding success. Players and spectators came together to enjoy ice hockey on natural ice.

Save Pond Hockey is coming to Switzerland
Save Pond Hockey is an international movement that combines ice hockey and climate protection. The first tournament took place in Switzerland (Davos) on December 13, and the second tournament will take place in Zernez on January 17. All proceeds from the tournaments will be donated to our foundation. If you would like to participate, you can find out where to register here.
