Anyone who takes a look at the new pictures from the end of January will immediately see how much the Ice Stupa has developed since it was first built. From a wooden frame with small icicles, the Ice Stupa has developed into an impressive structure. It has now reached a height of around 13 meters and has a stable structure.

On Saturday, 4 April 2026, GlaciersAlive invites you to the Ice Stupa Fest at the Diavolezza valley station in the Engadin. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a special afternoon exploring the fascinating world of ice.
