Ice Stupa through the changes of time

As every year, the framework for the Ice Stupa was prepared at the Diavolezza valley station in fall 2025. With a great deal of patience, technology, and the first frosty nights, an exciting process began once again: the creation of a structure made of ice that will continue to change throughout the winter.

Anyone who takes a look at the new pictures from the end of January will immediately see how much the Ice Stupa has developed since it was first built. From a wooden frame with small icicles, the Ice Stupa has developed into an impressive structure. It has now reached a height of around 13 meters and has a stable structure.
